When installation is complete and your printer is connected to your router, you can then remove the USB cable and locate the printer to where you want. The program will ask you to connect the USB cable to transfer data to the printer. If you want to install the printer wirelessly, you select the relevant option during the setup and then select that this is the first time you install the printer. Connecting earlier can cause some devices not to install properly and require manual installation from Device Manager. Connect your printer only when you see the message on the screen to do so. Also check the Run as Administrator box, just in case. Check the box to enable the list and select Windows 8 or 7 (according to the driver). Right-click on the driver and select Properties, then Compatibility. Not all models support scanning wirelessly!
